All of our fire alarm systems operate on an open protocol basis, which allow our customers a far greater choice of competent system maintainer and does not tie them to the system supplier or equipment manufacturer.

Conventional Fire Alarms

Conventional fire alarm systems are designed to meet the needs of a relatively small or low cover system requirement. These systems offer a simple, cost effective and reliable solution for smaller installations, such as small business premises.

Addressable Fire Alarms

Analogue addressable fire alarm systems are "intelligent" systems that are a natural choice for larger installations and more complex systems. These provide far greater system information to the customer in comparison with conventional fire alarms.

Wireless Fire Alarms

Radio fire alarms operate on the same principle as the addressable range. The advantage of the wireless system is the reduced installation costs and speed of which the system can be installed with a minimum of disruption to the customer.

Voice Alarm Systems

Voice alarms (VA) are enhanced versions of public address (PA) systems, linked to fire alarms, designed specifically to meet the life safety issues contained within BS 5839 Part 8 and EN60849.

Fire Extinguishers

STS supply, install and maintain a range of fire extinguishers. Our fire extinguishers are kitemarked and CE approved. Fire extinguishers successfully extinguish the fire in over 80% of instances. By law, adequate means of tackling a fire must be provided.

Fire Risk Assessments

Fire risk assessments are now required by law under “The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005”, for non-domestic premises which came into effect in October 2006. These regulations lay down procedural guidelines for the assessment of identified risks for the purpose of identifying general fire precautions needed to comply with the necessary requirements.
